Jamaica
Jamaica is my Caribbean "home-away-from-home" and I would love to have you join me down there, where I can show you my favourite hot-spots.
Whatever you wish to gain from your vacation: adventure & excitement, culture & history, or tranquility and relaxation, rest assured this Island has something for you. To refresh, reboot, and reload yourself I recommend that the sun and fun be the main attractions here. A seven-mile white sand beach and world renowned sunsets can whittle the day away with nothing more than a beach chair.
For the more active adventurers, there are plenty of exciting Caribbean excursions to guarantee a good sleep at the end of the day. Snorkelling, swimming, hiking, boating, jet skiing, and dancing just name a few!
Jamaica is a small Caribbean island nation with a vibrant local culture: 234 kilometres (145 mi) in length and in some areas, as much as 80 kilometres (50 mi) width. Located in the Caribbean Sea, Jamaica weather provides an abundance of sunshine with year-round tropical temperatures that are moderated by the almost constant trade winds.
Even despite the fact that Jamaica is located smack in the centre of the Caribbean, it doesn't blend in easily with it's neighbouring islands. Sure, it does boast the same sugary white sand beaches, and seemingly endless sunshine as the other islands, but it is also set apart culturally and historically.
Visiting Jamaica with me, you will have a chance to truly appreciate your trip, as we embrace the island's unique character and distinct "African-ness" of it's population. Aside from the people, Jamaica has so much to offer the curious, thirsty, or weary globe-trotter. There are world-class reefs, stretches of palm lined beaches, congenial fishing villages, hiking tours, endangered crocodiles, spectacular sunsets- in short, enough variety to ensure the vacation of your lifetime.
